EDUCATION TOURISM

South Bandung tourism were handled by Kesatuan Bisnis Mandiri Agro Forestry Wisata Jasa Lingkungan Perum Perhutani, West Java.  The object at Ciwidey such as Patuha Crater, Patuha Hotel, hot water Cimanggung and Ranca Upas object tourism.

There were Patuha Resort and strawberry Agro Tourism. Mount Patuha the white crater is famous as the kings of Tourist. Area in Ciwidey have high 2.434 m surface on the sea. The temperature were 8 – 22 celcius degree. It were  cool.

In this area you can drink Bandrek and Kaula orange. Bandrek is the traditional drinking.

MOUNT PATUHA CIWIDEY TOURISM

Mount Patuha is located at Ciwidey  region Bandung Regent. This mount is the oldest Mount at West Java.  Patuha have the meaning the old man.

Based on the history note, Mount Patuha had erupted twice at X and XII Century. After the volcano from this mount, there were beautiful crater and lake. At the area there were ancestral graves such as Eyang Jaga Satru, Rangsa Sadana, Eyang Camat, Eyang Ngabai, Eyang Barakbak and Eyang Jambrong. The spirit of ancestral always gathered and met every Friday Kliwon night at the top mountain.

At 1873 the Dutch man have researched and found that at the mount have content many sulfur. He had built sulfur factory which named Zwavel Ontginning. ( Source : Poskota )
